How The Idea To Start Onyx Designs Came?
A huge passion for technology, design and a knack for earning his own living, since the early years - Raj always kept looking for avenues that would enable him to do so. Coming from a family that had enough to live luxuriously, he was adamant he wanted to stand on his feet and do something successful of his own.
At the mere age of 17, while pursuing his undergrad degree in Architecture, he humbly began Onyx Entertainment that did guest listing and entries into prestigious clubs around Mumbai. While this earned him enough to sustain himself, the hunger of an entrepreneur made him want more. After a few years of R&D, 3 years ago, Raj established Onyx Designs officially.
Onyx Designs was born when he saw the gap in the market for products that could be customized not on in bulk but also in singular numbers, for B2B and B2C clients. Raj realized how it was important for the design elements to be extremely strong and in depth to be able to customize single products in terms of dimensions, material as well as personalization was extremely difficult and costly in today’s times.
