In this article we would be discussing the list of Saif Ali Khan movies in which has appeared:

1. Parampara [1993]

Parampara is the debut Saif Ali Khan movie, a drama movie by genre. The movie was directed by Yash Chopra. It casts Vinod Khanna, Sunil Dutt, Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon, Ashwini Bhave, and Ramya Krishna. Parampara was a flop at the box office. Though critics praised it for Yash’s direction. You can find the movie on YouTube.

Saif is playing the role of Pratap and the movie is about family rivalry which is shown to be continued for ages making the movie feel to be stretched unnecessarily. He doesn’t have much screen time as such and the story is also not too great. So, this is not worth your time.

2. Main Khiladi Tu Anari [1994]

Main Khiladi Tu Anari is an action-comedy by genre. It is directed by Sameer Malkan. This Saif Ali Khan movie also casts Akshay Kumar, Shilpa Shetty in pivotal roles.

It went on to become the top 5 highest-grossing movies of the year. Also, the movie was the first commercial hit for Saif making him a bankable star. This was the first movie to be reviewed by martial arts movie critic Albert Valentin and he rated it 3.5 from 5. You can watch the movie on Amazon Prime.

Saif and Akshay are a treat since their chemistry is adorable to watch. Also, the movie has good action scenes for action lovers with good comic timings. Saif is the one who introduces humor at the correct time. This one is surely worth watching.

3. Yeh Dillagi [1994]

This Saif Ali khan movie is a romantic comedy. The movie is directed by Naresh Malhotra. Inspired by the American movie Sabrina, the movie also casts Akshay Kumar and Kajol.

Yeh Dillagi was then remade in Telugu too. It was a commercial success back then and garnered positive reviews from critics. It is available on Amazon Prime.

Saif is playing the role of Vicky Saigal and was again praised for his comic timing. According to The Indian Express, he left the audience in splits whenever he appeared on the screen. This movie is also worth watching.

4. Keemat- they are back [1998]

The next on the list of Saif Ali Khan movies is Keemat which is an action movie by genre. Directed by Sameer Malkan and Produced by Ganesh Jain, Ramesh Jain.

The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Sonali Bendre, and Raveena Tandon. It was a commercial success. Comments on this movie were not made by the critics. Currently, it is available on Sony Liv.

Saif is a thief in this one. If you have watched all the movies in which Akshay and Saif have collaborated you will find nothing exciting in this one. The movie is also a typical Bollywood movie with nothing good to serve.

5. Kachche Dhaage [1999]

Kachche Dhaage is an action thriller. This Saif Ali Khan movie is directed by Milan Lutharia and produced by the Taurani brothers. The movie also stars Namrata Shirodkar, Ajay Devgan, and Manisha Koirala.

It was well received by the audience at the box office. However, the storyline of Kachche Dhaage was slow and was not in focus due to which it received negative reviews. You can watch it on Amazon Prime and Jio Cinema.

In this Saif Ali Khan movie, he is playing the role of Jai, a corporate from the city. If you want to watch this movie you can watch it for Ajay Devgan since, in this one, he overpowers Saif in terms of acting.

But still, he manages to earn a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The performance of Manisha is also not flattering making it quite a time waste for the audience.

6. Aarzoo [1999]

Aarzoo is a romantic movie, directed by Lawrence D’Souza. This Saif Ali Khan movie also casts Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, Reema Lagoo, Amrish Puri, and Paresh Rawal.

The movie had failed to create any magic at the box office. Critics didn’t make any comments as such on this one. If you want to watch it, it is available on Zee5.

Saif is supporting the male lead in this one. The storyline is good but improvements could have been made in direction. If you are a Saif Ali Khan fan you shouldn’t watch this one because the script and the movie don’t do justice to his character. From the start, he is the one who is making sacrifices and in the end, too he dies.

The movie was a commercial success with highly positive reviews. It is available on Netflix.

Saif is playing the role of Vinod. His role is good in this one but small. But it is not worth watching because you can’t relate to it and it seems that they are overacting. It seems inspired by Ramayana, but not up to the mark.

It is one of the best performances of Saif till 2001 and the character development is worth noticing. This movie is good to watch since there is no over-the-top acting making it all seem natural. On a cool weekend, it is good to watch.

10. LOC Kargil [2003]

Saif’s role is inspired by Captain Anuj Nayyar, MVC from Jat Regiment. Everyone in the movie is playing the role of our great heroes who sacrificed their lives for the sake of saving our motherland. Whether Saif’s acting is good or not, it is worth watching for everyone. Since there is not only one story but of many army soldiers who fought for us in the war.

11. Hum Tum [2004]

It is a romantic comedy movie by genre. This Saif Ali Khan movie is directed by Kunal Kohli and produced by Aditya Chopra. The movie casts Rani Mukherjee as the lead.

It was the seventh highest-grossing movie of the year. It received mixed reviews, praises for its direction and performances, and criticism for its script and length. This movie is available on Amazon Prime Video.

Saif is playing the role of Karan, who is unbearable and likable at the same time. His performance is really good and one can not imagine other than him in the role. It is quite a good movie to watch and the story is quite interesting.

Saif is playing the role of Langada Tyagi who is Lago in Shakespeare’s play. This movie is the most different on the Saif Ali Khan movies list. In all of them mostly he is playing the same role of a good, cute urban guy. But he is the most different and real milestone in the movie. It is a must-watch for all for the story, direction, and cast’s performance.

Saif is Ranvir Singh in this movie and he is just superb. He looks so awesome, the movie has so many twists, too good songs, and a top-notch performance by the whole cast. It is again a good choice to watch.

Saif is playing a double role in it. The movie is good and Saif’s acting too is heart-touching. He has all the emotions under control, he plays goofy, carefree, nervous, idiotic, intense, angry, and depressed all in that one movie. One should give this movie a try for the sake of him.

17. Aarakshan [2011]

This is a socio-political drama based on the controversial policies of the government in the field of education. It is directed by Prakash Jha.

Saif plays Gautam Kapoor, an urban guy. The title of the movie describes the movie, Kaalakandi which is a Marathi slang for the time when everything goes utterly wrong. And the protagonist (Saif) has everything going on wrong in his life.

Saif is the only focus of the movie but he proves that he is the right choice, to be the focus. He is the hunter or Gossain as called in the movie. The reason to watch this movie are its visuals, cinematography, direction, and the strong performance of Saif. If you are a hardcore fan of Saif it is the one that should not be missed.

24. Jawani Janeman [2020]

Saif is essaying the role of Jaswinder Singh. Saif and the cast have done remarkable work in terms of acting. But the way the story unfolds is quite illogical at times. Saif is playing the role of Udaybhan Singh Rathore who was Aurangzeb’s royal guard. And he is killing in terms of acting and has taken his role beyond what was written in the story. It is a must-watch for the fact that it showcases Maratha's bravery, robust filmography, and visceral battle scenes.
