Kedarnath is a famous temple located in Uttrakhand. This temple is one of Char DhamsPandavas built the Kedarnath temple to please Mahadev. Many of us already know that Mahadev is known for his big heart. The person who worships him gets a lot of blessings and achieves something that is not even in a person's fate.

With the growing modern era, more people know about Kedarnath. But they know Kedarnath for its trek distance and high altitude. Moreover, they know that this place is dedicated to MAHADEV. Have you ever wondered, Earlier why young people were not going to Kedarnath? Because Kedarnath is not a place to trek and it's not a picnic spot too. Kedarnath is a place, where people in the early era went to tell god that now they had fulfilled their responsibilities and were ready to end their life. Kedarnath is a Tirth Sthal and people go there when they enter into the last stage of their life. It's a Hindu belief that after marrying your children and seeing your grandsons/granddaughters you can complete your Char Dham Yatra as a token of fulfilling responsibilities and purpose of life.

"Waves which hold power"

This Chardham yatra starts from Yamunotri, proceeds towards Gangotri, onto Kedarnath, and finally ends at Badrinath. Our elders still go there with this belief that now they are ready to end their lives, their family is happy, they are seeing their grandchildren growing and now the purpose of life is been completed.

The main reason for writing this article is that people nowadays go there for their trek and fulfilling social media trends but this place was never meant for young people. Because Kedarnath is one of the char dhams which simply means- people who have fulfilled the purpose of their life will go there and give their token to god that their purpose is completed and now I'm ready for "mukti"(life's end). As this is located in Uttrakhand, we as Uttrakhand-born know the real purpose of going to "Kedarnath-Badrinath".

I'm completely okay with the fact that now youngsters are allowed there but please go there to see its beauty and feel the divinity. Try not to ruin that place by creating pollution, throwing litter, drinking, and doing unusual stuff.
