She couldn't see where she was going. She trapped on a piece of rock lodged in the ground and fell, hitting her head on the side of a log that was carelessly cut and left by an individual who probably didn't care about mother nature at all. She was being chased but she didn't know by who and as she lay there on the ground trying to get her conscious back she heard a laugh. A haunting very distant laugh, it sent chills down her spine...Spine....atleast she could still feel her spine...maybe she could still the rest of her body if she tried. So she tried moving her fingers it moved but barely, same with her toes. Why couldn't she move. She was terrified as she could feel a figure moving closer, she didn't know who but she could feel it approaching, she tried to call out, she could hear herself but she was pretty sure the scream was coming from inside her head....no one could hear her....but as soon as she screamed for help she realized she wasn't in the forest anymore but in her room and the figure was there... Combing her hair...the figure was her room mate but somehow she knew it wasn't her room mate. It was someone else. The figure turned and smiled, told her to get up, so she asked, "what are you doing in the room? I thought you went out and you don't have your key with you, how did you come in?" When she spoke she knew no one could hear her coz it was all in her head but the figure seemed to hear her and laughed, later replying, "you're silly, I walked in". After saying that the figure got up and walked right through the door. She instantly got up, bones aching, head sore like she really did fall in the middle of the woods, she still felt drowsy but this time she was afraid to go to sleep...she was afraid the figure would come again....this time in someone else's form...and she would be helpless all over again....that was her biggest fear.....being helpless....
