From full glam coverage to no-makeup - makeup look, and from the wildest to the wackiest fits. The most prestigious fashion parade, known as the super bowl of fashion, also serves as a fundraising event for the Costume Institute, yes that’s what Met Gala is famous for.

The Met Gala welcomes celebrities, young creatives, and industry icons, or you could probably call it a culture reunion.

And today I'm gonna rank all 30 of the Met Gala's iconic fits. So let’s get started. 

1. Billie Eilish - Gucci (2022)

Oh, yes, that’s Billie Elish who stole the show on the red carpet in a custom Gucci suit. Her outfit is appropriate for the theme of “Gilded Glamor and White Tie”. 

There was also Blake Lively, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Gigi Hadid, and other celebrities, but Billie managed to take home the crown for fashion's biggest night. 

2. Emily Blunt - Miu Miu, Rose`- YSL (2021)

As predicted, she was one of the standouts of the 2021 Met Gala. She wore a naked tulle column dress that fit the theme “A Lexicon Of Fashion”. Despite the fact that Emily Blunt nailed it, Rose' was the queen of the Met Gala for all the "Blings".

3. Rihanna - Bulgari (2020)

Rihanna, the savage queen, proved right away that her outfits were the highlight of the event. This year's theme, "About Time: Fashion And Duration," was tailor-made for her, and she snagged it.

4. Lady Gaga - Brandon Maxwell (2019)

Though the ladies most often get the attention at the Met Gala, this year Wiz Khalifa was the clear victor of the night in an upholstered white rag and bone suit, which was perfect for the theme “Fashion In An Age Of Technology”.

The only dress that came close to fitting the theme ("China: Through The Looking Glass"). She was dressed in a border-crossing transparent outfit.

9.  Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds - Gucci (2014)

Hollywood's best-looking couple walked the red carpet together, and we couldn't help but sigh because they looked stunningly beautiful. Lively ended up wearing a blush Gucci gown with rose gold rhinestones. which is ideal for the theme ("Charles James: Beyond Fashion").

10. Nina Dobrev - Monique Lhuillier (2013)

the spellbinding vampire diaries leading lady Nina Dobrev, who made everyone turn their heads at the Met Gala. Nina's gown, with its leather strap and bodysuit specifics, mirrored the evening's theme ("Chaos To Couture").

11. Scarlett Johansson - Dolce & Gabbana (2012)

Scarlett Johansson, the Black Widow of the Avengers, hit a fantasy tale diva high note. The intricately embellished bodice exuded vintage-inspired glitz. Her attire was appropriate for the theme ("Prada: Impossible Conversations").

12. Taylor Swift - J.Mendel (2011)

Swift stepped out in a one-shoulder J. Mendel gown with a beautiful and elegant skirt for the 2011 "Alexander Mc Queen: Savage Beauty" Gala. The dress fit the theme perfectly because of its sheer top, faceted skirt, and contrasting colors.

13. Jennifer Lopez - Zuhair Murad (2010)

This is the prettiest of the ball in her silver sequin-dusted balconette gray gown, which most suited the theme "American Woman: Fashioning A National Identity."

"The Model As Muse: Fashion Embodiment" In this Met Gala, no one can compete with Kate Moss. She was the ultimate boss lady, she chose a black dress with feather accents. It was her big return to the Met Gala at the time.

She resembles a lovely beaded door hanger. which was perfect for the theme“Poiret: King Of Fashion.

17. Victoria Beckham - Roland Mouret (2006)

Fashionista Victoria, attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute to celebrate the exhibition "Anglo Mania," wearing a strapless Roland Mouret gown that perfectly matched her ruby neckpiece.

22. Martha Stewart - Grazia (1998)

Martha Stewart attended the Costume Institute in 1998, attired in what can only be described as a bedazzled version of the gown, for the theme“Honorary Chairs”.

The theme was "Gianni Versace," and Madonna walked in wearing Ingrid Casares, stealing the show with her fashion statement.

24. Princess Diana - Dior (1996)

At the 1996 gala honoring Christian Dior's legacy, the princess of Wales undoubtedly stole the show in a lingerie-inspired silk slip dress teamed with a pearl and turquoise choker.

26. Nadja Auermann (1994)

Nadja Auermann, a German runway model and actress, deliberately paired bold red lips with a deep purple slip dress, and the result was bombastic. The theme was “Orientalism: Visions Of The East In Western Dress”.

Christy Turlington appeared as a modern-day Audrey Hepburn on the red carpet at the 1992 Met Gala, which was themed "Fashion And History: A Dialogue," wearing a pearl choker and curls embroiled into a vintage knot.

28. Lynda Carter (1990)

 Lynda Carter steals the show at the Met Gala with her ostentatious gown and outrageous headpiece, which fit the theme "Fashion Dolls: The Survival of Haute Couture."

29. Cher (1985)

Not surprisingly, Cher wore two of the most talked-about Met Gala gowns. In 1985, she wore a Bob Mackie gown. It was one of the first "naked costumes" to be worn, with a pure organza gown, white-feathered sleeves, and a white feathered skirt. Which was apt to the theme “Costumes Of Royal India”.

30. Iman (1982)

Iman looked stunning in a sparkling gold ensemble complete with a body chain and oversized hoop earrings, and the theme was "La Belle Epoque".
