The Notifications settings are an option located on the Settings screen of Malwarebytes on Windows. This option lets you set the frequency and manner in which Malwarebytes notifications are displayed on the Windows device. Notifications
Notifications about scans, real-time protection subscriptions, updates and scans appear in windows in the lower-right part of your display, just outside Malwarebytes' interface. You can enable or deactivate the following options:
Provide a security summary each 30-day period (Premium Only): When enabled, Malwarebytes notifies you with the overview of all detected threats in an in-app notification once every thirty days. You can select for this to be sent each 30 days or just the threat was discovered within that time. This toggle is turned on.
Display all notifications in the Windows notifications area. Allow or deactivate all Malwarebytes non-critical notifications within the Windows notification area. The default setting for this switch is turned on.
Please inform me when any Real-Time Protection components are disabled (Premium Only): Some users deliberately disable one or more of the real-time protection components. If this switch is not turned off, you do not receive alerts about Real-Time detections. This toggle is set to enabled.
Stop notifications once The drop-down menu is. You can select the length of time for time that a Malwarebytes alert displays. It is also possible to open Malwarebytes notifications until you close them manually.
Scan reminder
The Scan reminder feature lets you set up the setting to send out a reminder every few days reminding users to conduct malwarebytes scans to identify threats. When enabled, you can use your "stop malwarebytes notifications" drop-down menu to choose the frequency at which you wish to be alerted.
