  • There you will find the option “Advanced Options”, click on the option.

  • Now you need to click on the Recovery option.

Advanced Options For Windows 11

You can simply rest your PC or Laptop, but there are some advanced options that you can select. After clicking on the reset button, you will find two different options.

  • Keep my files

  • Remove everything

You can choose one of these options whether you are using Windows 10 or 11. The “Keep my files” option is to make sure that you are only deleting the settings and downloaded apps. You can preserve your important files by choosing this option. If you are facing an issue, this option will pop up.

But if you don’t have any plan to save any file, then you can select the option “Remove everything.” this option will help you to get rid of everything on your PC or Laptop. This option will delete all downloaded apps, drive, personal files and settings.

How To Reinstall Windows?

  • Restore preinstalled apps

  • Download windows

Once you select the previous options, there are some additional options. You can customize some extra settings. You can click the “Change settings” to change some choices. There are some choices that you can make. Here are the options.

  • After choosing “Keep my files,” the settings and apps will be there as a new PC. If you don’t want to select the settings, you can either disable or enable the Restore preinstalled apps. 

  • When you choose to Remove everything, all your files will be removed. If you are choosing the option, then there is no need to select any other option to delete your personal files. 

But with the right software, you can secure those files. But when you have a plan to give your machine to some other person, you must enable the Clean data. The option will take some time, but it is worth it.
