The confectionaries in the Wizarding World created by J.K. Rowling in the Harry Potter series are so creatively described that one’s mouth waters at its very mention. THE CHOCOLATE FROG
Harry first came across the chocolate frog when he was en route to Hogwarts, traveling in the Hogwarts Express. He bought it from the ‘Hogwarts Express Trolley’. The chocolate frog comes with a collectible famous witch or wizard trading card.

BERTIE BOTT’S EVERY FLAVOUR BEANS
“You want to be careful with these. When they say every flavor, they mean every flavor- you know you get all the ordinary ones like chocolate and peppermint and marmalade, but then you can get spinach and liver and tripe. George reckons he had a bogey-flavored one once.” - Ron Weasley
These beans one of the most famous harry potter candies, come in umpteen flavors and it is not to be ignored that some of them are extremely disgusting. These beans were pioneered by ‘Bertie Bott’, who created them in the mid 20th century by mistake. He was planning on making tasty sweets from food but fortuitously ended up with these queer beans instead.
‘Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans’ are nearly the same as Muggle jelly beans, except the diver's flavor it offers, encompassing every flavor imaginable. These are ordinary flavors like chocolate, peppermint, and marmalade, but also nauseates when one gets the liver, dirty socks, feet or vomit.
Some of them are not actual foods like; grass, farm dirt, sulfur and many more. One should only risk it when he’s sure that he won’t go nuts if he gets unfortunate enough to come across an obnoxious flavor. One can test his culinary skills with Omni flavored soup prepared with these beans and can come up with something unique, perhaps even more spectacular than these beans.
ACID POPS
‘Burns a hole right through one’s tongue.’
Manufactured by Mr. and Mrs. Flume, ‘Acid Pops’ is one of the harry potter series's candy sold by Honeydukes Sweetshop in Hogsmeade. They appear like simple lollipops but they have a joke like a twist with wizarding magic which burns a hole in the tongue.
And now when we desire to sneak into our neighbor’s garden to steal their apples we can shush their dog with an acid pop.
One must wonder why such a dangerous candy is sold despite its risks. The reason seems pretty obvious that the injuries caused by them are easily healed by magic. For instance, when Ron’s tongue was damaged after having an acid pop given to him by Fred, it was healed without any complications.
BLOOD FLAVOURED LOLLIPOPS
Again, manufactured by Mr. and Mrs. Flume, they are sold in the ‘Unusual Tastes” section of Honeydukes. These lollipops taste like blood and it is doubtful whether anyone is enticed by it save as for vampires. They prove as a good means to play the prank on others. Just imagine how we can dodge vampires with this chocolate and make them do umpteen tasks for us at the cost of these sanguine candies.
There is also a muggle version of these called ‘Blood pops’ that makes a person’s mouth blood-red. Amazing Candy nah ?
CANARY CREAMS
‘Canary creams’ were created by Fred and George for their joke shop, ‘Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes’. They have the appearance and taste of ordinary custard creams but once eaten, the eater transforms into a large canary but to a relief, gets back to normal within a minute.
Neville Longbottom, once, ate a canary cream at the celebration party for Harry Potter on his victory over the Hungarian Horntail, the first task of the Triwizard Tournament. He immediately transformed into a large canary but reverted back to normal within a minute.
We can avenge our insults from our teachers by tricking her into eating one of these candy and making them the laughing stock.
PEPPER IMPS
The tiny peppermint sweets allow one to breathe fire. The consumer smokes at his ears and nose. Another confectionary manufactured by Mr. and Mrs. Flume and sold at Honeydukes and possibly at other places in Hogsmeade, Pepper Imps are one of the delicacies Ron raves about as he mentions Honeydukes to Harry.
You can threaten a foe who enters into a quarrel with you.
SUGAR QUILLS
They are finespun sugar candies or chocolates made to resemble real quills. Sold at Honedukes and various other sweet shops in harry potter series, they can be sucked on stealthily by students in class and it will give the impression as if the person is thinking of what to write next.
Hermione Granger believes that the deluxe variety of Sugar Quills lasts longer. They are a good means of entertainment in a class when a boring lecture is in progress.
ICE MICE
This Ice flavored candy manufactured by Mr. and Mrs. Flume and sold at Honeydukes causes one’s teeth to “chatter and squeak”. This harry potter candy is ice cold.
It’s an amazing treat for a summer afternoon.
FIZZING WHIZZBEES
They are one of the most ravished sherbet balls, manufactured by Queenbee in the potter series, causing a person who sucks on them to float a few inches off the ground. Dried Billywig stings are rumored to be one of this sweet’s ingredients. This idea is supported by the fact that being stung by a Billywig will make a person levitate for a while.
Relishing candy in mid-air sounds marvelous, doesn’t it?
JELLY SLUGS
The gummy candies of harry potter series, fashioned as slugs and famous as Jelly Slugs are a treat available at Honedukes.
If the real slugs themselves come across these, they will be in a fix to see their phenotypes.
PEPPERMINT CREAM TOADS
A magical peppermint cream shaped like a toad which hops realistically in the stomach when it is consumed. These can be offered to one whose stomach seems like a bottomless pit so that the hopping toads reminds him that his tummy isn’t empty and keeps him away from eating until then.
TON-TONGUE TOFFEE
Manufactured by the impish twins, Fred and George Weasley, and sold at ‘Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes’, Ton-Tongue Toffee is a rainbow-colored sweet which, with the power of Engorgement Charm makes the tongue of the eater intumesce to an indeterminate size. Don’t forget to offer it to your neighborhood aunt who always pokes her nose into your affairs and relish her puzzled reactions.
