The international regulating body for the game of football, or soccer in the United States, is called the (Fédération Internationale de Football Association). In actuality, it is the biggest international sports regulatory body.

Every four years, men's teams from different countries compete in the World CupTM. The organization has more than 200 associations as members, making it the second-largest international association in the world (after the United Nations).

The FIFA franchise has established a good reputation over the years for its lively home-FIFA songs, which occasionally have captured our attention more than the gameplay itself.

This article will be a walk down memory lane unlike any other, and it will undoubtedly elicit more than a strong sense of nostalgia for all our favorite FIFA songs ever.

1. Song 2 - Blur [FIFA: Road To World Cup 98]

The English rock group Blur has a song called "Song 2." On their self-titled fifth studio album, the song is the second track. "Song 2," which was released on April 7th, 1997, reached its top position the second position on the UK Singles Chart. FIFA: Road to World Cup 98's title music features the song. Blur's "Song 2." is one of the greatest FIFA songs ever. This song, which was originally only meant to frighten label executives, has endured the test of time as a representation of tumultuous energy and wonderfully complemented what is arguably one of the greatest FIFA games ever created. One of the best FIFA songs ever.

(Woo-hoo) When I feel heavy metal

(Woo-hoo) And I'm pins and I'm needles

(Woo-hoo) Well, I lie and I'm easy

All of the time, but I'm never sure why I need you

Pleased to meet you

2. Red Morning Light - Kings of Leon [FIFA Football 2004]

I could have added a tonne more songs from the unbelievably good FIFA Football 2004 soundtrack, but this timeless single from Kings of Leon's debut album is its pinnacle. Whoever was left in control of these FIFA songs decided to go nuclear for a franchise that is justly recognized for giving the biggest stars in up-and-coming rock a platform. "Red Morning Light" deserved to be in the foreground. This is one of the most famously known FIFA songs ever.

You got your cozy little corner

All night you're jammin' on your feet

Hangin' out just like a street sign

And put a twenty-dollar trick

3. Club Foot - Kasabian [FIFA 13]

The English indie rock band Kasabian's 2004 debut album, Kasabian, contains the song "Club Foot." No band and no song are more synonymous with British football culture than Kasabian and "Club Foot." "Club Foot" is commonplace and unavoidable. It's truly difficult to know where to start because it is so iconic in so many ways.

One, take control of me?

You're messing with the enemy

Said it's two, it's another trick

Messing with my mind, I wake up

4. I Can Talk - Two Door Cinema Club [FIFA 11]

Two Door Cinema Club, a Northern Irish band, released the song "I Can Talk" on their debut studio album Tourist History (2010). The second single from the album, which debuted at number 135 on the UK Singles Chart, was made available on November 20, 2009. Nothing better exemplifies the stereotypical "FIFA Songs" than Two Door Cinema Club's "I Can Talk," which FIFA 11 handed fans everywhere as a present.

You won't believe what I tell you

White coats and clever minds will choose

You get a lot from this, loose tongue and arrogance

It's not appropriate, don't think that this is it

5. Helicopter - Bloc Party [FIFA 06]

Bloc Party, an English rock band, first released "Helicopter" as a stand-alone single in the UK in October 2004. It later appeared on the Little Thoughts EP and was then released in the US two years later as a single from their debut album, Silent Alarm. Some "FIFA songs" are "FIFA songs" because of their nostalgic flavor, which instantly brings to mind how much time you used to spend holding the PS2 controller. Some songs, like "Helicopter," become classics simply because of how memorable the music is.

North to south, empty

Running on, bravado

As if to say, as if to say

As if to say, he doesn't like chocolate

6. ‘Around Town’ – The Kooks [FIFA 15]

The fourth studio album by the British rock group The Kooks is titled Listen. It was made available on September 8th, 2014 by Universal. New drummer Alexis Nunez, who joined the group in 2012 to replace Paul Garred, is featured on the album for the first time. The singles "Down," "Around Town," "Bad Habit," and "Forgive & Forget" came before the album. Around Town, the album's second single was made available on June 15, 2014. The video game FIFA 15 included their song, Around Town.

You can get yourself into a fight

If that's the way you wanna live your life

You can get yourself connected

To the world that we are thrown to, yeah

7. Jerk It Out - Caesars [FIFA Football 2004]

The Swedish rock group Caesars has a song called "Jerk It Out." "Jerk It Out," a magnificent one-hit wonder from Sweden's Caesars, was released in 2002 (while the group was still known as Caesars Palace) as the first single from their album Love for the Streets. It is a must-have song on any playlist of FIFA's greatest hits. "Jerk It Out" is a new song that complements the thrilling new style of 21st-century football that FIFA introduced, adding to the offensively filled FIFA Football 2004.

Shut up, hush your mouth, can't you hear, you talk too loud?

No, I can't hear nothing 'cause I got my head up in the clouds

8. Big Dreams - Bakar [FIFA 19]

Big Dreams is the contemporary version of Paul Weller's sarcastic "Town Called Malice" from decades ago, which offered biting sarcasm. A song that Bakar created for his younger brother in the housing projects of London serves as a message to never give up on even the most ambitious dreams.

"Oh no," you spoke to me

When things weren't going how they supposed to be

But I know there's supposed to be

I've been keeping your word so close to me

9. Myxomatosis - Radiohead [FIFA Football 2004]

The lords of all things music critic-related, Radiohead delivered one of the perfect FIFA songs to go with a game that had players kicking controllers out of their bedroom windows. Hail to the Thief, Radiohead's disjointed mess of a record from 2003, featured the song "Myxomatosis," which reveled in the pounding dissonance of the instrumental's decadent groove, a fuzzy, off-kilter bassline, and Thom Yorke talking himself into a frenzy of creativity.

FIFA songs, Around Town, are used in the video game FIFA 15.

My thoughts are misguided and a little naïve

I twitch and I salivate like with myxomatosis

You should put me in a home or you should put me down

I got myxomatosis, I got myxomatosis

10. Cobrastyle - Teddybears [FIFA 06]

Teddybears, a Swedish band, play "Cobrastyle," a song with Mad Cobra, a Jamaican singer. On their 2004 album Fresh and their 2006 album Soft Machine, respectively, the song was first released. It was made available as a single on June 6, 2006. FA Cup championship screamer by Gerrard. That headbutt from Zidane. Football's 2006 season was one to remember. Fortunately, FIFA provided a soundtrack to go with it, and the lively, upbeat Reggae-rock song Cobrastyle by Swedish band Teddybears was the perfect complement for samba talents.

Mi press trigger mi nuh press people button

Nuh bodda chat come face mi wid somethin'

Like how mi have twenty-two inna mi somethin'

Ten haffi you so ho fi get di next dozen, fool!

11. Fools Gold - The Stone Roses [FIFA Football 2004]

The British rock group the Stone Roses released "Fools Gold" on November 13 through Silvertone Records. They would go on to include "Fools Gold" on some non-UK editions of their self-titled debut studio album (1989). The band's biggest commercial success at the time was "Fools Gold." It makes perfect sense that a FIFA cover featuring Henry, Del Piero, and Ronaldinho would include this ten-minute jam of funk-rock craziness. One of the more intriguing selections on the star-studded soundtrack, but unquestionably one of the greatest, is this trippy Madchester special, which features John Squire's guitar wizardry over a James Brown-inspired percussion. Fools Gold delivers as one of the perfect FIFA songs ever.

These boots were made for walking

The Marquis de Sade don't wear no boots like these

Gold's just around the corner

Breakdown's coming up round the bend

12. Town Called Malice - The Jam [FIFA Football 2004]

The Jam, a British band, released the song "Town Called Malice" on their album The Gift. In February 1982, it debuted at the top of the UK Singles Chart. Its inclusion on FIFA Football 2004 more than 20 years after its 1982 premiere is evidence of both its genius as a soundtrack for several generations and the solace football can offer. Some FIFA songs are labeled "FIFA songs" because they have a nostalgic feel to them like this one.

Rows and rows of disused milk floats

Stand dying in the dairy yard

And a hundred lonely housewives

Clutch empty milk bottles to their hearts

Hanging out their old love letters on the line to dry

13. My Number - Foals [FIFA 21]

Foals, a British rock band, released "My Number" as the second single off their third studio album, Holy Fire. When the band appeared on Later... with Jools Holland on November 13, 2012, the song made its live debut. The song became their biggest charting single to date after peaking at number 23 on the UK Singles Chart. It is also the group's most commercially successful hit to date. It was included in the FIFA 14 video game by EA Sports as a special mix called "Trophy Wife remix."

So people of the city

I don’t need your counsel now

And I don’t need your good advice

Cause you don’t have my lover’s touch

14. Waka Waka - Shakira [FIFA Football 2010]

Shakira, a Colombian artist, collaborated with the South African band Freshlyground on the song "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)," which is titled "Waka Waka (Esto es frica)" in Spanish. The official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which was hosted in South Africa, was published on May 7 by Epic Records and was written, composed, and produced by Shakira and John Hill. Waka Waka is one of the best FIFA songs ever.

You're a good soldier, choosing your battles

Pick yourself up and dust yourself off, get back in the saddle

You're on the front line, everyone's watching

You know it's serious, we're getting closer, this isn't over

15. Rockafeller Skank - Fatboy Slim [FIFA 99]

English DJ and big-beat musician Fatboy Slim have a song called "The Rockafeller Skank." It was made available as the first single from his second album, You've Come a Long Way, Baby (1998), on June 8th of that year. The record spent a week atop the Icelandic Singles Chart in June 1998, when it peaked at number six on the UK Singles Chart. A classic song that belongs on this list and is among the best FIFA songs ever is "Rockafeller Skank."

Right about now

The funk soul brother

16. I Can Change - LCD Soundsystem [FIFA 11]

This is one of those FIFA songs which will give us 80's vibes. American rock group LCD Soundsystem wrote the song "I Can Change." This Is Happening, the group's third studio album, featuring the song as its third official single, was made available on May 29, 2009. Pat Mahoney and James Murphy, the band's lead singer, wrote it, and the DFA produced it. One of the FIFA songs included on the FIFA 11 video game soundtrack, reached its highest point at number 85 on the French Singles Chart.

It's good in the dark

Good in the dark

But into the lover's light

Here comes another fight

17. Stevie -Kasabian [FIFA 15]

Kasabian, an English rock band, wrote the song "Stevie" (stylized as "Stevie"). On November 7, 2014, it was made available as the fourth single from their fifth studio album, 48:13. The song's music video was posted to YouTube on October 13, 2014. Additionally, FIFA 15 from EA Sports uses it as the soundtrack. Additionally, Susie was Susie who served as Stevie's original inspiration, claims Kasabian. So many of us know this because it is on the list of FIFA songs.

Because it's no joke, no joke

I wanna open up your eyes wide, eyes wide

I feel it coming but you can't hide, can't hide

I wanna make you see the light

18. Offence - Little Simz [FIFA 20]

The soundtrack for FIFA 20 had to be excellent. Lockdown offered endless hours of Ultimate Team play, eight years of PSV career mode, and Pro Clubs as a substitute for interpersonal communication. It's a good thing that EA gave us one of the best FIFA songs in recent memory; this screamer from Little Simz is the soundtrack at its best.

If you're gonna talk on my name, least say it with your chest

Got my team on deck taking out all pawns and my knight got your queen in check, mate

19. Jungle - Tash Sultana [FIFA 18]

The third and final single from Tash Sultana's extended play Notion, "Jungle," was made available on September 5, 2016, in Australia (2016). Along with (obviously better) tackling, tactics, and goalkeeping intelligence, FIFA 18 gave the audience the presence of Australian singer-songwriter Tash Sultana and their song "Jungle," which reached number 39 on the ARIA Singles Chart.

Welcome to the jungle

Are you gonna dance with me?

Welcome to the jungle

You got to close your eyes to see

Welcome to the jungle

20. Something For Your M.I.N.D. - Superorganism [FIFA 18]

The lead track from British group Superorganism's debut album was a Dadaist collage made from a variety of sounds, strange synths, and samples, all layered beneath Orono Noguchi's pillow-soft voice. A band born out of the internet era, "Something For Your M.I.N.D" is the product of a group of musicians from different parts of the world who have a shared interest in the strangeness of a rapidly changing modern world.

I know you think I'm a sociopath

"My lovely prey, " I'm a cliche

Make way I'm in my Pepsi mood

Mama needs food, how about a barbecue?

For us the bourgeoisie, so carefree

Remember when we?

I don't know what you need to get by

21. Tighten Up - The Black Keys [FIFA 11]

American rock group The Black Keys' song "Tighten Up" is one of theirs. It is the third song on their 2010 album Brothers, and on April 23, 2010, it was made available as the record's lead single. The track, which was the Black Keys' debut to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, has gone on to become one of their most popular hits in the country. The famous changes in FIFA 11 and the actual launch of a new and enhanced Ultimate Team may live on in memory. The Black Keys' song "Tighten Up" is the epitome of what makes FIFA songs the FIFA songs: a snappy bass line, straightforward lyrics, and indie rock.

Take my badge but my heart remains

Lovin' you, baby child

Tighten up on your reins

You are runnin' wild, runnin' wild, it's true

22. Dreams - Beck [FIFA 16]

American alternative rock musician Beck's song "Dreams," which was published on June 15 of that year, is about dreams. The song is the first single and the first single to be released from his ninth album, Colors (2017). In FIFA 16 from EA Sports, "Dreams" was included in the soundtrack (2015). Beats 1, the premier radio station on Apple Music, gave the song 65 plays in July 2015.

Come on out of your dreams

And wake up from your rêverie

Time is here, don't go to sleep

Streets are running on the brink

23. Train - Goldfrapp [FIFA Football 2004]

Goldfrapp is a British musical group that released their second album, Black Cherry, with the song "Train," which they wrote and performed (2003). The song's production company was Goldfrapp, and music reviewers praised it highly. It debuted in the UK's top thirty following its release as the lead single in the second quarter of 2003. In the sports video game FIFA Football 2004, the song is featured.

Plastic brain scar, I want laser

I'm your chauffeur with high gloss highs

Take you where you want

Can't stop, oh, off the train

Train, yeh, yeh, yeh

24. Bodyrock - Moby [FIFA 2001]

Moby, an American electronic music artist, has a song called "Bodyrock." On July 12, 1999, it was made available as the third single from his fifth studio album, Play.  The song, which draws heavily on hip-hop, uses vocal snippets from Spoonie Gee and the Treacherous Three's "Love Rap." On the UK Singles Chart, the song reached number 38. The song was included in 2001's FIFA songs.

Rock, y'all

Non-stop, y'all

To the beat, y'all

The body rock, y'all

Today is rock, y'all

Non-stop, y'all

To the beat, y'all

25. You should see me in a crown - Billie Eilish [FIFA 19]

Billie Eilish, a 16-year-old singer, debuted "you should see me in a crown" on Wednesday as a new single from her upcoming debut album, which has not yet been given a name and is anticipated in the first quarter of 2019. The third episode of the second season of the popular BBC television series "Sherlock," titled "The Reichenbach Fall," served as the inspiration for the song. The song was included in 2019's FIFA songs.

Bite my tongue, bide my time

Wearing a warning sign

Wait ‘til the world is mine

Visions I vandalize

Cold in my kingdom size

26. ‘Call It What You Want – Foster The People [FIFA 12]

American indie pop group Foster the People has a song called "Call It What You Want." It was made available as the third single from the group's debut album Torches in December 2011. Frontman Mark Foster and producer Paul Epworth collaborated on the song's composition. The song was also included in the 2012 FIFA songs, an EA Sports video game. The song debuted on the 2011 Triple J Hottest 100 chart at position 14.

You say, "Now what's your style and who do you listen to?"

Who cares?

Well, that rat race ladder-climbing fake-face smile's

Got nothing on me, yeah, yeah

27. The Nights -Avicii [FIFA 15]

Avicii, a Swedish DJ and music producer, collaborated with singer-songwriter Nicholas Furlong on the song "The Nights." It was made available as a digital download via PRMD Music and Universal Island's The Days / Nights EP on December 1st, 2014, and on January 11th, 2015, in the UK.   The song's UK Singles Chart peak was at position six. The song "The Nights" was included in FIFA 15, a football game by EA Sports.

"When you get older

Your wild heart will live for younger days

Think of me if ever you're afraid"

28.Já Sei Namorar -Tribalistas [FIFA Football 2004]

One of the all-time great soundtracks for a video game, and unquestionably the best one for a FIFA title, is found in FIFA Football 2004. The album's tracks and the "making of" were both included on a DVD that was distributed globally. The video game FIFA Football 2004 included the song "Já Sei Namorar."

Já sei namorar

Já sei chutar a bola

Agora só me falta ganhar

Não tenho juiz

Se você quer a vida em jogo

Eu quero é ser feliz

29. Black and White Town - Doves [FIFA 06]

The third album by the English rock band Doves, Some Cities, has the first song, "Black and White Town" (2005). The band's second top-10 hit, the track, which debuted on February 7, 2005, peaked at No. 6 on the UK Singles Chart, earning them their second top-10 hit. Miles Kane's rendition of the FIFA song "Don't Forget Who You Are" features an upbeat bassline, a sing-along chorus, and an overall joyful indie rock sound. Another excellent example of how EA sources easy listening that both jump out as a fantastic song and seamlessly fits into the background as you shop the market for cheap animals. Doves has become one of the defining FIFA songs.

Here comes some action

First time in my life

I gotta get up to get compensation

I gotta get up to get this to light

30. 19/2000 - Gorillaz (Soulchild Remix) [FIFA Football 2002]

The song "19-2000," often spelled "19/2000," is from the self-titled first album by the British virtual band Gorillaz. It was the second single from the album, released on 25 June 2001 in the United Kingdom. Sixth place was achieved by "19-2000" on the UK Singles Chart. The most recognizable song from FIFA Football 2002. Soulchild's remix of Gorillaz's "19-2000" epitomizes everything excellent about FIFA songs: a creative, enjoyable indie track to support a simple yet unforgettable game of football highlighted by an OP Invincibles team.

The world is spinning too fast

I'm buying lead Nike shoes

To keep myself tethered

The days I've tried to lose

My mama said to slow down

You must make your own shoes

Stop dancing to the music

Of Gorillaz in a happy mood

31. Don't Forget Who You Are - Miles Kane[FIFA 14]

The second studio album by independent rocker Miles Kane is titled Don't Forget Who You Are. On June 3, 2013, Columbia Records issued it. The second track on the album, "Don't Forget Who You Are," which appears on EA Sports' EA Trax in the video game FIFA 14, inspired the album's name.

I wanna shine

I'll shine so hard, I'll stand up high

These foolish ways, I know my place

My time is now, my time is now

32. Circles - Digitalism [FIFA 12]

Circles by Digitalism was a bit of a shock, maybe included to capitalize on the young fervor surrounding Skrillex and Nero's loud instrumentals. The German duo's effort was more melodic, with the bottom rattle of its heavy house beat supporting the catchy chorus and lyrical verses. The fact that 'Circles' seems somewhat out of place on the FIFA songs may have contributed to its popularity. However, the line " I play it again and again and again..." is the ideal lyric to remind you of how long Iyou've been browsing the Ultimate Team transfer market.

Hello all the good times

When did you leave me behind?

I didn't have enough time

For this stuff on my mind

33. Heat waves - Glass Animals [FIFA 21]

On June 29, 2020, the English indie rock band Glass Animals released "Heat Waves," the lead single from their third studio album Dreamland. In addition to the music video, it was made available. EA is renowned for its excellent music library. My journey through life is accompanied by FIFA songs; the collection of excellent FIFA songs spans many years. However, with the British band Glass Animals and their hit song "Heat Waves," EA has surpassed all FIFA songs previously featured.

Sometimes, all I think about is you

Late nights in the middle of June

Heat waves been fakin' me out

Can't make you happier now

34. Wavin' Flag - K'NAAN [2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa]

K'naan, a Somali-Canadian musician, recorded the song "Wavin' Flag" for his album Troubadour. The song was initially created in support of Somalia and its citizens' desire for freedom. Following the album's small hit single "ABCs," the initial single from the album was a hit in Canada and peaked at #2 on the Canadian Hot 100. When it was selected as Coca-promotional Cola's anthem for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which was hosted by South Africa, then this became one of the FIFA songs which was a true global smash. This revised international version, which included new lyrics, peaked at number ten on more than twenty different international charts.

Give me freedom, give me fire

Give me reason, take me higher

See the champions take the field now

You define us, make us feel proud

35. Kraftklub - Eure Mädchen [FIFA 13]

FIFA 13 is, in my opinion, something of a middle child to many fans, lacking both the nostalgia of FIFA 11 or 12 and the caliber of the games that would come out right after it on the PS4 and Xbox One. Finally, Lionel Messi made it onto a FIFA cover, replacing longstanding custodian Wayne Rooney as his career started to wane, and with a strong soundtrack, Germany's Kraftklub gave FIFA another installment of a foreign language banger.

Wir sind nicht Tocotronic und wir sind auch nicht die Sterne

Wir sind so wie wir sind, klingen wie wir klingen

Auch wenn die Indiepolizeisirene blinkt

36. Love Me Again - John Newman [FIFA 14]

John Newman, an English singer, has a number-one success with "Love Me Again." Except for the United Kingdom, where it was made available as the lead single from his debut studio album, Tribute, on June 30, 2013, the song was made available as a digital download across Europe on May 17. (2013). Newman and Steve Booker co-wrote the song, while Booker and Mike Spencer co-produced it. Later, the song was included in the 2014 video game FIFA songs.

Now I'm rising from the ground

Rising up to you

Filled with all the strength I found

There's nothing I can't do

37. Goodbye Mr. A - The Hoosiers [FIFA 08]

The second single from English pop rock band Hoosiers' debut album, The Trick to Life, is titled "Goodbye Mr. A." (2007). When Irwin Sparkes, the band's frontman, learned that Jonathan "Mr. A" Anderton had passed away in 2006, he wrote a song in his honor in the key of B major. The FIFA 08 football video game has "Goodbye Mr. A" on its soundtrack.

So busy showing me where I'm wrong

You forgot to switch your feelings on, oh-oh oh-oh

So, so superior, are you not?

You'd love a little bit, but you forgot

38. Down By The River - Milky Chance [FIFA 15]

German folk band Milky Chance has a song called "Down by the River." It was made available on March 28, 2014, by Lichtdicht Records as the follow-up single to their debut studio album, Sadnecessary. France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK all have the song on their charts. The duo themselves produced and wrote the song. This is one of the tunes that may also be heard in the 2015 FIFA songs, which were created by EA Sports.

Down by the river

I was drawn by your grace

Into depths of oblivion

And to the lovers place

39. Love Natural - Crystal Fighters [FIFA 14]

I have two distinct recollections from FIFA 14: the amazing trio of Jakub Blaszczykowski, Robert Lewandowski, and Marco Reus from Dortmund, and Crystal Fighters. In the heyday of the series, "Love Natural," which is both iconic, was the ideal complement to an imaginative reimagining of FIFA. It is an incessantly joyful song. A lively groove and irrepressibly funny lyrics are accompanied by jovial, uplifting violins. It was also a much-needed love.

Let me tell you something, oh

Something you may not believe, yeah

Let me talk about this feeling

Inside that's happening to me, oh

40. Postpone - Catfish & The Bottlemen [FIFA 17]

The success of Catfish & the Bottlemen in FIFA is a well-known example. The Ride from 2016 revealed Catfish to be polished and self-assured. Catfish made their FIFA 15 debut with "Cocoon," where their debut album was promising. With "Postpone" already established as a massive success in the UK indie scene and their polished The Strokes impersonation style a welcome addition to a UK landscape mostly devoid of straightforward indie rock, FIFA 17 had yet another winner.

Postpone it

And tell them life's got you

Take time off

Tell them someone needs you

And tell them, "All work does is bides you a year"

Here we end our list of All-Time Great Fifa Songs Ever. No video game franchise has ever been as influential in the discovery of music as FIFA has. FIFA songs have a reputation for consistently high-quality music, from the most well-known artists on the planet to newcomers from the indie rock scene.
