1. "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." - Gone with the Wind (1939)

As Rhett Butler leaves his wife at the end of the film, he says this line in response to her question “Where shall I go?”. It’s his last words to his wife and unforgettable film dialogue.

2. "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse." - The Godfather (1972)

From what is considered as one of the greatest films of all time, this film dialogue is one of the most popular in cinematographic history. In fact, IMDB found that this line has been referenced in other media over 150 times!

3. "Here's looking at you, kid." - Casablanca (1942)

In a film full of incredible lines, this one is one of the best. And the shocking part is, it wasn’t even on the script! Based on the face cards in poker, actor Humphrey Bogart changed the dialogue that he delivered to Ilsa in the movie, and the rest is history.

4. "May the Force be with you." - Star Wars (1977)

Even if you’ve never watched the movies, we’re sure that you have heard this famous dialogue from Star Wars, one of the greatest film series. It’s become a popular line in the media and in everyday life.

5. "You talking to me?" - Taxi Driver (1976)

In the famous scene where Travis Bickle has a conversation with himself in the mirror, Robert De Niro improvised this famous line.

Terry Malloy loses out on a career in boxing when he’s forced to throw a fight by powerful mob boss Johnny Friendly. This line describes the downward spiral his life took after this happened.
