Lucknow is famous amongst you all as the ‘City of Nawabs’ and boasts of its Chikankari handicraft all across the globe. Not just these, Tehzeeb, architecture and mouth-watering food, has marked Lucknow as a royal city.

However, the presence of eerie environment and places in the city is something people rarely know. It attracts the people who love horror and are courageous enough to spend time with spirits.

1. Nirala Nagar

3. Lucknow Railway Quarters

You would meet the spirit of a British Engineer named Bill Turner, who used to live and work in the Lucknow Railways. He married a young girl at a late age, who was in love with another engineer. Hauntingly they both were shot dead by Turner when caught red handed on Christmas eve. Few days later, Turner also committed suicide. 4. Balrampur Hospital

Located near the Residency of Lucknow, you would be walking into a hospital built over a graveyard. 5. Sikandar Bagh

You would find this place as a witness to the savagery of brutal Britishers. 2300 Indian Freedom Fighters lost their breath in the disputes and their bodies were not received a proper burial, still hunting for justice. 6. Lucknow Residency

You would be amused when you see a devastated building with no roofs and doors. But, visit this place at night for the spooky look. You wouldn’t be disappointed with the horror the place has to offer. The rebellious Indian soldiers attacked the house, killing many English men, women and children.
