The fans make IPL so large. The growth of fans, season after season is the reason why IPL is getting so engrossing with each year.

This year’s version of the IPL cricket league is not too far. The hoardings and cheerleaders are already ready. But, all of them are damn confused. It is tough to predict who will win the trophy in this 2018 edition.

No doubt, like the earlier ones, this edition will also be flooded with entertainment and thrill. Two of the most dominant teams, CSK and RR are making a grand comeback in the deck.

A normal deck of cards has 4 kings, but this deck consists of 8 kings. Confused? Kings here are the owners of the teams. The owners have their Ace as their team captain.

Feeding Trends presents you the list of owners and the captains of the IPL teams of this 2018 edition.

1. Chennai Super Kings

I think, no one wants to miss Mahendra Singh Dhoni playing in the field for CSK. The owner of the team is India Cements Limited (N. Srinivasan). And yes, in 2015, the team was involved in some malpractices. But now, it is going to rule the pitch with MS Dhoni as the captain of the team.

2. Kings XI Punjab

The team is owned by Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta, Mohit Burman, and Karan Paul. But their shares are not yet known. Ravichandran Ashwin is going to be the captain of this IPL team. Hope for some real bhangra on the filed this time.

3. Delhi Daredevils

The man behind the success of the team is Mr. G M Rao, the owner of the team and the GMR Groups too. Gautam Gambhir is appointed as the captain of the team. Delhi seems all set.

4. Kolkata Knight Riders

People love Mr. Khan, and he’s one of the reasons for the great fan-following of the team. The team is under the captaincy of Dinesh Karthik, and ownership is in a partnership of Shahrukh Khan (Red Chillies Entertainment) – 55% shareholder, Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla (Mehta Group) – 45% shareholder. Didn’t knew about Juhi?

5. Mumbai Indians

What to say about the star team and their players? They all are incredible like their owner, Mukesh Ambani (Reliance Industries). The lucky “Sharmaji ka Ladka”, Rohit Sharma again got the chance to become the captain of the team. Role model you see!

6. Rajasthan Royals

Maybe, the audience could once again witness the dance of Shilpa Shetty with the team members as it was seen in the first edition. The fans are more excited to see their comeback after 2 years. Steve Smith has taken the charge of the captaincy of the team. And Manoj Badale is the owner of the team.

7. Royal Challengers Bangalore

As always, RCB has the most powerful batting line-ups. Virat Kohli is the captain of RCB with the ownership of Diageo through United Spirits Limited, but Chris Gayle is one player who takes away all hearts!

8. Sunrisers Hyderabad

SRH has retained David Warner and made him the captain of the team. The owner, Kalanidhi Maran, (Chairman & MD – Sun Network) has taken a wise decision and chose the right person at that place. It would be insightful to see his performance as the captain.

The craziness among the fans of most loving game cricket is at the peak. The love for cricket is drastically increasing day-by-day. Even, the owners of the teams are feeling proud to have the best players in their team.

But the more awaited part is the fever that this IPL will give to India. Indian Premier League 2018 will be commencing from April 7th, 2018, until May 27th, 2018. You can reschedule your petty jobs for this grand confluence.
