Shakespeare once said: “I am a happy man. Do you know why? I expect anything from anyone”
Yes, expectations lead to disappointments — it is a fact that can’t be denied. Everyone goes into something with big expectations that things will happen without much effort. After some time, the truth reveals. The dreamed results are not coming.
After the failures, do people start to ask themselves: “Why?” — Yes, they do and begin to overthink.
It is good to analyze situations, outcomes, and what it could be, but that doesn’t help much.
The answers come sooner or later, and they are ugly.
Some people do not succeed because of a lack of commitment toward whoever they are within the relationship. Another group of people does not put enough work into whatever they do. The third group doesn’t succeed because they aren’t sure exactly what they want.
But, everyone needs to see the face in the mirror and accept it.
There is a saying: “The only person I fight is myself,” and it is the truth.
When people are clear about what they want, can sacrifice in the name of it, and how to deal with failures, they can face and learn from disappointment’s reality. Giving up, on what you want, when the expected results didn’t meet in the short-term period, is not a good thing to do.
