Dear Diary,
I've never completed anything in my life. If you asked me to name my dreams, I know for a fact I could keep you preoccupied for hours on end. Describing in endless detail just exactly how they'll go and play out. But when it comes to the work, when it comes to me sacrificing to produce a result, it never quite comes to fruition. I don't really know why, listening to my gut alone, it's fear. The fear that I'll put my all into something and it won't work out anyway. But the tides are turning on my fate, because with this entry I've completed a goal I've been aiming for.
Ten posts are needed to become an official partner. That's all I wanted to do, create just ten posts. Finally, after pulling an all nighter, here I am! This is a finish line, and it doesn't matter if no one is reading, it doesn't matter if I can't make a living from just this blog. What matters is that I've proven that I can do it! That if I want, when I set a goal, I can work and I can sacrifice and I can achieve it! This is a finish line! It isn't the first I've crossed, and it isn't the last I'll have to. But it is to be celebrated! Thank you, Diary, because with your listening ear I've been able to purge myself. To let go of the weight that's been holding me and become someone, something, new!
