He worries that his past may catch up to him as they grow closer together, changing their relationship.
This duo made this movie the 8th highest-grossing Bollywood film that year, as we fell deeper in love with the on-stage couple. It’s a must-watch movie collaborating with two incredible actors.

2. Bombay Talkies (2013)
4 directors. 4 stories. 1 unforgettable film.
This film celebrates the history of Bollywood cinema and the impact that film had on different people in India. Released on 3 May 2013, the 100th anniversary of Indian cinema, we were given four amazing stories in one movie.
Both Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor make it into the film, with Ranbir playing himself and Deepika in a cameo during the “Apna Bombay Talkies” song.
While this isn’t a film where we get to see a lot of this due together, it’s definitely one that we had to include.

3. Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (2013)
Another Bollywood favorite is Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, where Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor play co-stars and each other's romantic interests.
The film follows a trekking trip between 3 best friends, who are suddenly joined by their old classmate, Naina. Through the trip, Naina falls in love with Kabir Thapar, or 'Bunny', but never gets the chance to tell him. 8 years later, the two reunite at a wedding.
This film had us at the edges of our seats, waiting to find out what would happen next. This Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor movie is completely unforgettable, and one you just cannot miss.

4. Tamasha (2015)
In this film, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor again play each other's romantic interests.
We follow the main character Ved in three different parts of his life: childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. The start of the film focuses on the growing friendship between Ved and Tara, who made a deal to keep their identities a secret after meeting during a vacation in Corsica.
However, when Tara begins to realize she’s falling in love, she leaves Corsica and Ved behind. We continue to see Ved’s life change after that, including revisits to his past with Tara.
This film truly was great and even won Deepika, Stardust Award for Best Actor Of The Year (Female), and a nomination for the same award for Ranbir. If you haven’t seen this Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor movie yet, do check it out.

5. Baiju Bawra (Upcoming)
The final film on this list is one that has not yet been released. With an estimated release date of 5 November 2021, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be directing this exciting new film. Not much has been released around the plot, but we know that the storyline revolves around two singers.
Recent news has shown that Deepika and Ranbir may not be working together on the film, however more accurate information on the matter is yet to be revealed. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we get to see his pair on-screen one more time!
This dynamic duo has delivered us some of our favorite Bollywood movies, and hopefully, we’ll get to see a lot more in the future. They’ve always made a great on-screen pair and made so many movies better because of it.
