Celebrities dressed to the nines are expected at the world's glitziest film festival, and the Cannes Film Festival did not disappoint in the fashion department this year. Deepika Padukone's custom Louis Vuitton gown and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's floral Dolce & Gabbana creation were both big hits at the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Given that India was named the official 'country of honor' at the Marche' Du Films, also known as the Cannes Film Market, which takes place on the eve of the Cannes Film Festival, the presence of Indian celebrities at the French festival was especially strong this year.
Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were among the regulars at Cannes 2022, as were actors Aditi Rao Hydari, Tamannaah Bhatia, Pooja Hegde, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, composers Ricky Kej, and folk singer Mame Khan. While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made florals look revolutionary for spring, Deepika Padukone's Louis Vuitton overcoat did not go over well. Many people were perplexed by the actor's choice of fall fashion over a minidress and knee-high boots for an event held during the French summer.

Aditi Rao Hydari's next look, unfortunately, disappointed us. The actor wore a Sabyasachi gown with a belt and Sabyasachi jewelry. Her hair was swept back in a bun, and she wore a pink hair band that seemed out of place.
