You won't do anything but promote enthusiasm for this show.  American police procedural show "Brooklyn Nine Nine" first aired on Fox and then moved to NBC. Eight seasons and 153 episodes of the show were broadcast between September 17, 2013, and September 16, 2021.

It was created by Dan Goor and Michael Schur and centers on Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), a detective for the New York City Police Department (NYPD) who works in Brooklyn's 99th Precinct and regularly disagrees with Captain Raymond Holt, a sober and strict boss (Andre Braugher).

So, here we present to you our list of 12 Brooklyn Nine Nine Characters Who Were Remarkable.

1) Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg)

Imagine having a 10-year-old as a grown guy. If that grown man was a detective and that detective was the main character in a TV program, you would have Jake Peralta. He may be juvenile, but he's still a pretty capable investigator who understands when to put the jokes away (sometimes).

His enthusiasm for comedy is virtually equal to that of the precinct. When coupled with Amy Santiago their differences peek through, but at his core, Jake is a wonderful man who you would like to hang around with.

“Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. No doubt, no doubt, no doubt.” - Jake Peralta, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

2) Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero)

She is neat to a fault and drives her coworkers crazy with her competitive spirit and goody-two-shoes persona. Santiago excels at what she does and constantly strives to bring out the best in others (even if it seems annoying at the time). Her emotional involvement with the show's star, Jake Peralta, has produced a delightfully sappy atmosphere.

“My Snitches are the best. The key is to always send them handwritten thank-you notes.” - Amy Santiago, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

3) Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher)

The station captain is gay, black, and unafraid to discuss the difficulties his character has encountered because of these two characteristics. His anti-comedic humor and utterly serious demeanor work wonder against the lively Jake. Jake's covert need for Holt's approval to compensate for the absence of a father figure in his childhood makes it come across even better.

“Love, it sustains you. It’s like oatmeal.” - Raymond Holt, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

4) Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz)

Rosa Diaz has our hearts, but we're also afraid of her. It's quite perplexing. Rosa is remarkable on several levels, including her propensity for violence, her ravenous libido, and her icy isolation from the other members of the precinct. So when she displays a strong sense of devotion and occasionally displays true affection, it makes you feel deeply.

“Anyone over the age of six celebrating a birthday should go to hell.” - Rosa Diaz, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

5) Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio)

The mushy sidekick, whose humor frequently comes from his effeminate behavior and taste, never disparages ladies but rather celebrates them. His friendship with Jake is a mainstay of the program and one of the major plotlines.

“It's such a classic Boyle trait to not recognize talent. My cousin Susan didn't know she could sing until her late 40's.” - Charles Boyle, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

6) Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews)

Let's be clear about one thing: Terry Jeffords is a legend. He looks like an angry hardass with his huge mass of bulging muscles ready to rip through every garment he's ever worn. He needed a different form of self-motivation at the gym.

However, despite his love of yogurt and his two young girls, Jeffords is a surprisingly composed and logical individual who frequently follows the rules rather than resorting to force.

“I ate one string bean. It tasted like fish vomit. That was it for me.” - Sergeant Terry Jeffords, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

7) Hitchcock(Dirk Blocker)

Scully, Michael Hitchcock's companion of thirty years, and they are frequently pictured together; both are renowned for their happy lethargy. They are ailing and aged detectives, but they have an impressive amount of badass experience to their credit. Hitchcock, who worked as a detective during a time when New York was said to be "under purge," has the 99th precinct's most arrests despite having made hardly any in recent years.

"We're A Package Deal" -Hitchcock, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

8) Skully (Joel McKinnon Miller )

Scully, like his colleague, is an old investigator with a well-known box of medications for all of his ailments and shares his sluggish demeanor. Together, the two frequently annoy the other investigators, but they also get along. Even though he appears to have a difficult past involving two children he is estranged from, he and his spouse nevertheless provide lots of laughter and happiness. Scully has a hidden aptitude for opera singing, which is unexpectedly put to use throughout the entire series.

"As Of Yesterday I Am Officially 1% Done" - Skully, Brooklyn Nine Nine

9) Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti)

Life is Gina! That's it. Okay, the office receptionist's (?) fixation with social media and an inflated ego are only a small part of who she is. Her main source of humor is her egotistical megalomania. She hurls abuses at people as she moves around her world, showing no remorse at all. Because she is queen, we adore her.

“If I die, turn my tweets into a book.” - Gina Linetti, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

10) Kevin Cozner (Marc Evan Jackson)

Captain Raymond Holt's spouse and the dean of Columbia University's Classics division is Dr. Kevin Cozner. He shares Holt's amusingly dispassionate approach, but because of his participation with the precinct, he develops bonds with the detectives. He makes an odd friendship with Gina and is exposed to other aspects of life, like Captain Holt, thanks to people like Jake. He frequently appears with the couple's Corgi, named Cheddar. Kevin and Holt had a loving and devoted relationship throughout the series despite having similar monotone outlooks on life.

"Better Get Some Corticosteroids To Treat That Laryngeal Fracture." -Kevin Cozner, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

11) Adrian Pimento (Jason Mantzoukas)

Adrian Pimento, a former 99th Precinct detective who spent 12 years in the shadows, is now a private investigator. After years of working with Jimmy Figgis' mafia, Adrian is tough, fearless, and emotionally disturbed. He exhibits an alpha mentality, frequently making unintentional attempts to appear menacing or terrifying to others. He is also seen to have mob-related scars and to still goes under the identity "Paul Sneed" today. He is filthy as well.

"So there I am, naked, still holding the hedge trimmers, when the chauffeur walks in and I say, 'Guess you caught me red-handed.'" -Adrian Pimento, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

12) Doug Judy (Craig Robinson)

At one point, while being held at knifepoint, Doug Judy said that he didn't want to die as he was still watching the second season of Game of Thrones. Doug Judy is depicted as being immature, with a laid-back attitude toward situations and a great love of pop culture, similar to Jake. Doug Judy is smooth, suave, personable, and endearing. He never loses his temper and is constantly a sociable person. Douglas is a well-known car burglar and con artist who has taken more than 200 Pontiacs. He was Jake Peralta's arch-enemy, yet they have a lot in common, including an immature, carefree attitude toward life and a deep love of pop culture. Rosa Diaz was his favorite woman.

"Jake, help me. I don't want to die. I'm still on the second season of 'Game of Thrones.'" -Doug Judy, Brooklyn Nine Nine.

Here, we end our list of 12 Brooklyn Nine Nine Characters Who Were Remarkable. The sitcom Brooklyn Nine Nine  won a Golden Globe. The 99th precinct of the New York Police Department is essential to the plot of the show. And for sure you will love watching this show if you are fan of Comedy-Crime television drama.
