A Book Launch and Book Reading event for the book " Broken For The Best" in Lucknow at Sheroes Cafe Lucknow
The event was focussed on women empowerment, motivating and encouraging the duo writer, Priti Chaubey and Srishti Srivastava Singh for their 2nd book, Broken For The Best.
The duo writer took an initiative to raise the voice of suppressed and ignored women in the society through their second book.
About The Book:
This is a real story of a girl, exploring the different dimensions of relationships, like a father-daughter healthy relationship, friendship, an unwanted marriage, domestic violence, love, destiny, etc.
Sukriti, the lead character of the story, goes through all this and in the end, shines brightly as she rebuilds herself and proves that she was "broken for the best".
Sukriti is a girl who is single-handedly raised by her father Mr.Joshi in the city Meerut. Mr. Joshi though came from a narrow-minded Brahmin society but never restricted her daughter from doing anything in her life.
He wanted Sukriti to grow as an independent woman. So like any other father, he did all the possible things he could, in order to see her daughter happy.
But life is not that easy, she along with her father, faced a lot but fortunately, in the end, she managed to rise above all and became an example for all the women struggling with social problems.
Book Launch At Sheroes Hangout Cafe Lucknow
The event took place at Sheroes Hangout Cafe in Gomtinagar, Lucknow, which is a cafe run by brave women, who are acid attack survivors.
The cafe was perfectly suited to the theme of the event as well as the book that was being launched.

About The Duo Author:
Priti Chaubey is the daughter of ex-army personnel, Mr. V. P. Chaubey and Mrs. Satyabhama Chaubey while Srishti Srivastava Singh is the daughter of government officer Mr. Pradeep Srivastava and Mrs. Veena Srivastava.
Apart from the book writing, the duo writers are motivational bloggers as well.
