when I go on Google and I search for the best survey sites to make money online, I’m greeted with just average sites. I pick any one of the top results and all I can say is good luck making minimum wage with these ones hence I wouldn’t even waste my time with them.

This made me think that there are people who believe these are the best survey sites. Most of these are average at best, and there are only two explanations for this: either the author doesn’t know what they’re talking about, they probably don’t take surveys themselves, and they just kind of wrote this article on a whim, or the survey site doesn’t have an affiliate program, so it doesn’t make the best list.

Don’t be concerned; that is not what I am here to do today. In this post, I’ll show you the best survey sites. This list, in my opinion, is not in any particular order. All of these sites are going to be good choices, and if you want to do surveys online effectively, you should select a few of them.

#1. Prolific

This is my absolute favorite one in the sense that it’s an academic survey site. So unlike the usual market research surveys type you get, these surveys can be on different topics from universities such as business, psychology, medicine, accounting, and many more. Now the two most important things for me when I look at survey sites are, is it easy to use? and does it pay very well? well, Prolific checkmarks both of those and it and most importantly the surveys are very interesting. For example, you can get paid as much as $6 for a 6 minutes survey.

#2. Swagbucks

I personally use Swagbucks and it’s one of the best survey sites that pay very well to take surveys. There’re plenty of ways for you to get paid on Swagbucks like cashback rewards, offer walls, surveys, and much more. The majority of Swagbucks users should be able to earn $1 to $5 per day (or $365 to $1,825 per year).

There are some offers that pay $50 to $250, but earnings on a typical day could range from $1 to $5. Besides that, it’s also very easy to redeem your points either by gift cards, PayPal, or prepaid card making this a good website to use if you want to do surveys online.

#3. Pinecone research

This survey site pays on average $3 for every survey you take and the surveys take around 15 minutes. The easy thing about pinecone research is that you never have to specifically go on their website to take a survey. Usually, you’ll just get an email notification when one is available. The surveys can actually be pretty interesting sometimes when they talk about new products that are not yet released to the market like for example some new taco bell menu item, and sometimes they even offer to send you a free sample which you can use and then take a survey on that.

#4. Dscout

This one is actually an app and it has normal surveys that pay pretty well, but they also have video interview surveys which you can qualify for that pay even better. How this work is that you record yourself using your phone and then answer their questions giving your feedback and afterward you get paid for it.

There’re surveys that pay as much as $40, $50, $100 or even more making it one of the best survey sites out there. They won’t be the very short ones, they’ll take a little more time but these surveys definitely pay better than minimum wage.

However, don’t go quitting your job. Obviously, there are only so many surveys you can do and you don’t know which ones you’ll qualify for, but if you do qualify for a study on dscout you’re going to be paid very well.

#5. User testing

With this one, you’re going to be giving feedback on websites, products, and services. They pay for user testing and it’s pretty good on this site because you could get paid $10 for each completed test and this just consists of a recording and some follow-up questions that are written, and then if you are doing like a live conversation and giving them feedback, you could get paid like $120 for one of those sessions. Hence, user testing is definitely a great way to make a lot more money than just these average survey sites.

#6. Google opinion rewards

This is a mobile app you can use but maybe doesn’t pay a lot but it’s an easy way to earn rewards. I use this app and when I get a notification the surveys are specifically from Google so this is a unique app. Topics include everything from opinion polls, to hotel reviews, to merchant satisfaction surveys. Usually, they’ll notify you when a survey is available. For each one you complete, you will be rewarded with Google Play or PayPal credit.

#7. Survey Monkey

Unlike Google opinion rewards, for this one, you can set notifications. For this app, you might earn $0.25. $0.50, or $1 if a survey pops up but they’re so easy in the sense that, they’re usually just multiple-choice questions. it’s really a no-brainer if you want to be doing surveys that are easy so this is one of the best survey sites that can work for you.

#8. Amazon Mechanical Turk

Amazon Mechanical Turk otherwise known as Mturk is a giant marketplace of different types of tasks you can do including surveys and all of these tasks you get paid for it. With this site, you start off with the low jobs, and remember you have to complete a lot of those lower-paying jobs to actually get the higher-paying jobs.

A 2018 academic study examined 3.8 million tasks completed by 2,676 MTurk workers and discovered that average earnings on the platform were $2 per hour. Only 4% of all workers earned more than the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.

#9. Respondent

This is another one of those video interview survey sites types so you can get paid very well if you qualify for an interview. Companies rely on Respondent to find quality candidates for their research projects. The hourly rate for a completed project ranges between $100 and $700. It’s a wide range, but Respondent remains the best paying online survey site I’ve come across.

Final Thought

Before participating in any survey sites, always conduct your own research. There are many scammers out there, so never pay any website before taking a survey. Don’t rely on survey site income because there are better side gigs available online. Take these paid online surveys only if you enjoy doing them in your spare time.
