Digya is a college bully by nature, while Shreyas is a good-natured, quiet student. However, one event sees them become the thickest friends and they are part of a larger gang, which reigns on campus. Near the tea stall is their adda (a bench) where they discuss life, love, and settlement scores.

22. Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi

The film was a remake of the 1966 Hindi film "Biwi Aur Makan" directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The plot of the film revolves around four friends who are looking for rented accommodation. 

The landlady only insists on married couples, so the two friends are forced to dress as women and pretend to be the wives of the other two. Laxmikant Berde and Sachin Pilgaonkar present a complete Drag Queen comedy-drama.

Kesari is a 2020 Marathi language sports drama film about Marathi wrestler Balram Jadhav, whose only goal in life is to win the Maharashtra Kesari title! How Balram goes against the wishes of his father, who wants him to join his family business and shows how he is working towards his goal of winning the title.

25. Mauli

Mauli is a 2018 Marathi language action drama film produced by Genelia D'Souza and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. The film stars Ritesh Deshmukh in the title role along with Saiyami Kher. The film, though not a sequel, has a base and various plot elements similar to the 2014 film Lai Bhari. 

The film was initially slated to release on December 21, 2018, but it was changed to December 14 to avoid a clash with Shahrukh Khan starrer Zero.

26. Dagdi Chawl

The movie is inspired by Mumbai's actual Dagdi Chawl, which was known for gangster activities during the 80's and 90's and was also the official residence of a gangster turned political leader, Arun Gawli, popularly known as' 'daddy'.

27. Harishchandrachi Factory

Harishchandrachi Factory is a 2009 Marathi-language biographical film. The director of this movie is Paresh Mokashi. 

The movie is based on Dadasaheb Phalke, who made the first Indian feature film, Raja Harishchandra in 1913, and stars Nandu Madhav as him and Vibhavari Deshpande as his wife, Saraswati. Harishchandrachi factory focuses on the struggles that Dadasaheb Phalke had during production.

28. Aapla Manus

Aapla Manus is a story about a young couple, Bhakti and Rahul, living in an urban area. The couple lives with Rahul's father, Aaba. Rahul is a lawyer and Bhakti is a college professor. Rahul's partner in the law firm, Nitin, is also his good friend.

One day, late at night, Aaba falls off their balcony and is admitted to the hospital. Inspector Nagargoje, who looks very similar to Aaba and is of the same age, comes to question Rahul. Rahul narrates to him about the bickering relationship between his father and wife. 

As a consequence, their son, Nishu, is sent to boarding school so that he is not affected by this. Two days before the incident, they had a short, two-day trip to Lonavala, which Bhakti leaves halfway & the two return the next day. Don’t forget to watch the Apla Manus movie.

Sriranga Deshmukh (or Ranga) is a frustrated man. His frustration is especially with the women in his life-his wife, his mother, and especially his always angry boss. He thinks they control his life. 

During a trip to his hometown, Ranga attends the annual festival. During this journey, he learned that he had now acquired the ability to listen to women’s thoughts.

30. Katyar Kaljat Ghusli

Katyar Kalajat Ghusli is a 2015 Marathi musical drama starring Sachin Pilgaonkar, Shankar Mahadevan, Subodh Bhave, Amrita Khanwilkar, Sakshi Tanwar, and Mrinmayi Deshpande. 

The story revolves around two talented singers, Pandit Bhanu Shankar Shastri and Khansaheb Aftab Hussain Bareillywale, who fought to win the title of Royal Singer in a competition declared by the Maharaja of Bishrampur State. 

Acclaimed and screened by critics around the world, the film weaves beautifully into the classic themes of jealousy, insecurity, betrayal, despair, and remorse.

31. Kshanbhar Vishranti

Kshanbhar Vishranti is a 2010 Marathi-language film starring Bharat Jadhav, Hemant Dhome, and Sonali Kulkarni. The film revolves around Rutvik, who decides to take three of his close friends to his father's beach in Alibaug, but notices that the caring Appa has turned the house into a hotel.

32. Vegali Vaat

Neeta Donde, Dinesh Ingole, Sharad Jadhav, and Anaya Phatak will star in the Marathi language film Vegali Vaat, which will be released in 2020. When Ram is one farmer, when Ram is about to lose his land to an unscrupulous moneylender, his daughter Sonu's teacher offers to help him out.
