Based on the Battle of Saragarhi that took place on 12th September 1897, #Kesari is about one of the fiercest conflicts ever fought on Indian soil.
Celebrating the bravery of 21 soldiers of the Sikh regiment, the film portrays how they held the fort against 10,000 Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen. While the trailer majorly focuses on the battle (as it rightly should), it holds back enough so that there's some mystery left when the full thing drops.
Overall, it gives a good enough idea of what we can expect- a David vs Goliath kind of story about a handful of soldiers who engage in a war with scarce weapons but abundant valor.
