ALL THE TIMES I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE
Whenever I have a panic attack, there's this feeling that I'm about to die.
It's just this thought in my head that refuses to go away.
This year, I decided to be more intentional about my mental health and boy, I'm so glad I did.
Before I went to see a therapist, I was managing everything by myself and I realize now all the things I could have done better.
I would have panic attacks right before I go for classes, when I'm deciding on what to wear, when the weather is hot, when the weather is cold, before exams, after exams, and I would isolate myself from friends and social events.
Trust me, I know the feeling of wanting to be away from everyone when you're struggling with something.
Let me share a secret with you, having a support system when your world is crashing is probably what would pull you through the dark times.
Share your problems with your trusted friends, spouse or family members. Let them help you through it.
