1. Do not be afraid to try new things, be confident, and step out of your comfort zone. During your college years, you will have the opportunity to develop your personal skills to the fullest extent possible.
2. Be punctual. Do not delay things and let it become a burden for you which will cause depression and anxiety. Rather plan your things and try to make it exciting by doing it in a group or discussing it with your seniors or juniors.
3. Do not indulge in drugs or alcohol.
You will be forced in some or the other way but never consume alcohol or drugs.
4. Regular exercise should be incorporated into your daily routine. Get up in the morning, breathe some fresh air, and take a 20-minute sunbath.
You should be healthy emotionally as well as physically in order to be successful in your life.
5. Don't be afraid to talk to your professors. Most undergraduates don't venture into office hours because they're intimidated or have more exciting things to do. If you make an effort to connect with your professors and discuss things with them, they will appreciate your efforts, and believe me it will surely benefit you in your life.
6. Learn to drive. Do not wait for an opportunity, create one.
7. Just make sure of one thing that you become financially independent. Even if you are married or living with someone, just take care of your own finances. This will give you freedom and security and will also provide you with the confidence to face all life’s challenges.
8. Learn to cook. It may not be some fancy dishes but at least learn to cook for your own survival.
Cooking is a basic survival skill that should be learned by every individual.
9. Always keep in mind that this is a one-time journey so always be grateful to others and appreciate every single thing, be it, your sleepless nights before exams, weird conversations among your friends, late-night calls and discussions, mass bunking etc.
10. Never lose sight of your own roots. The pursuit of love, lust, or friendship should never result in the loss of your own identity and self-worth. Become your own best friend.

13. Always prioritize your tasks. DO NOT make it a habit to submit your assignments late. Try your best to stay organized and not procrastinate your work. This will cause you less stress.

14. Actively participate in activities organized by your college/university. Whether it’s a farewell party or any extracurricular activities, participate in it as this will help you learn many interesting things and will build up your self-esteem.
15. It's important to keep a healthy lifestyle, eat enough fruits and veggies, drink enough water, sleep well, and exercise. Bottom line: Your health is the foundation for everything else, so don’t neglect it.

Be responsible for your own actions. Never ever look down upon yourself or your family members. Keep your head high and live your life on your own terms.
