10.    Never lose sight of your own roots. The pursuit of love, lust, or friendship should never result in the loss of your own identity and self worth. Become your own best friend.

11.  Never waste your time on parties and bitching. Value your time over every thing and everyone. Chilling once in a while are always welcomed but don’t put your own life and career at stake.

19.  Avoid chasing people, money, fame, etc. Do not chase people, money, fame etc. Remember that what's meant for you will come to you, just keep up the hard work. It is not advisable to force any relationship be it friendship or love.

20.  Jumping in to rash conclusions with half information is always dangerous. If you are uncertain about something, go through the details, seek out your seniors or even anyone whom you trust if required.

Going to college can be a wonderful and a jaw dropping experience but make sure you follow the advises given by your parents and elders. Make sure you make progress, even it is a slow one.

Remember that:

"People never learn anything by being told, they have to find out for themselves."
