We spend a significant amount of time worrying about how to be the most productive at work. But we rarely consider how we'll make the most of our time off, whether it's a vacation when you're at home for the night or during a work break.
The most successful people, however, aren't just conscientious about their work schedules. They're just as serious about their downtime. This way, they don't waste any valuable time and can still make the most of every day while still growing, learning, and taking a much-needed break from work.
If you're not sure where to begin, here are 10 productive ways to spend your free time.
1. Volunteer and serve
It is not only noble to spend your free time helping others or improving your community. It is also advantageous to both others and yourself. For example, improving the environment, giving voice to the less fortunate, and making you feel like a team member. Furthermore, volunteering can boost your self-esteem, help you learn new skills, and broaden your network.
